Post date: Apr 15, 2019 10:34:55 AM

Announcements:

Next Meeting is a Troop Meeting, Tuesday, April 14 @ Christ Church Cranbrook. The boys will do some planning for the outing. The crossover scouts and crossover parents will have a planning session for summer camp. Crossovers will also be naming their patrol and will hold patrol leader elections.

Church Closing time: The Church closes at 9 PM. Historically we have finished our meetings by 8 or 8:30. We have had a few instances where we get very close to 9 or past that time and the Church has kindly asked us to avoid those instances in the future. Please assist with this request.

Information has been sent out. Please send an email to Eric Kranchenko if you are interested in going. Emails indicating no interest are also appreciated as this helps us plan. We need to get a final count for pricing purposes. The final deadline for response will be in early May. If you have any questions please let me know.

Information about the school is here https://www.mkc.ca/ This should be a really cool trip. Siblings that are not in scouting are welcome. Cost will be from $900 to $1100 - this is for a 5 day trip so a very good value. The goal of the 5 day course is to learn to Eskimo roll, Read a whitewater rapid, learn paddling safety, technique and rescue. We will get to run rapids.
