Next Meeting, Tuesday, April 16

With a trip scheduled this weekend and a Court of Honor in a couple of weeks, there is a lot to prep for. Scouts will be preparing skits for the Court of Honor and doing planning for the trip coming up.

Order of the Arrow –Current Member and Candidate Meeting (immediately following regular meeting)

If you were recently elected to the OA, please join us for this 15-minute discussion about the upcoming Spring Induction weekend, which is May 18-20 at D-bar-A Scout Ranch. Before the meeting, please do your best to review the OA information that was emailed to you Sunday night by Mr. Krueger. Current OA members are also encouraged to sit in on the meeting.

Personal Management

We are at a point where we are doing makeups and reviewing personal activities. We will have some time at the end of the meeting to do some reviews. Please see me or Mr. Kostal. Reminder: To try and streamline the review process with so many people in the group, Mr. Kostal has agreed to help get through those reviews. We’ve aligned scouts with the following counselors:

Camp Munhacke, Potawatomi Trail Outing

Everyone should have received an email from Derrick Hakim on Saturday about the venue change. Weather is just no cooperating and where we had planned on going was expected to get upwards of 13 inches of snow this past weekend.

April 20 - 22, 2018

Camp Munhacke in Gregory, MI which is right on the well-known Potawatomi Trail. This location is also much closer - only about an hour and 15 minutes away.

The weather shows a little cool overnight, but daytime it should be in the mid-50’s. Great weather for a hike!

Here's a map of the camp and we are staying at the Chippewa Campsite.

We plan on getting some nights on the ground, hiking, and rank advancements in, so please come and join us!

Payments being accepted in person and online.

South Oakland Shelter (SOS) Volunteer Event

Thanks to everyone who participated this these past two weekends in support of the Church and SOS.

Sailing Trip – FULL!

Great news, we have a complete crew for the sailing adventure this summer. For those going on the trip, please see Mr. Kravchenko about payments and a payment schedule.
