On Friday October 12th, 2018 the scouts hit the road to camp Munhacke to have our annual recruiting outing with cub scouts that are close to crossing-over to Boy Scouts. We had Cub Scouts from Pack 1014 in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan and Pack 1709 from Troy, MI.

On Saturday everyone woke up and had a quick breakfast with an efficient clean up afterwards. Later the boy scouts explained a series of stations for the Webelos to go through, with a theme of different ways to cook in the outdoors.

These stations included: reflector ovens, dutch ovens, backpacking food, and cooking right on the fire.

After the hands on stations everyone had lunch and played teamwork type games. Then they had 3 more stations witch included: more outdoor cooking, axe yard safety, and drone flying which the Webelos loved.
